WAVES BASEBALL COACH
Carlos, hailing from Silver Spring, MD, is deeply rooted in the local baseball community, having attended Montgomery Blair High School. His passion for the game is evident in his extensive coaching and mentoring experience spanning five years. Currently, Carlos serves as the coach our Travel teams as well as the 12u Drillers in the BABL AA league, where he imparts his knowledge and guidance to young players, nurturing their skills and love for the sport. His dedication to coaching reflects his commitment to the development of the next generation of baseball enthusiasts. Beyond the baseball field, Carlos enjoys spending his leisure time indulging in his love for gaming, particularly on Xbox, showcasing his diverse interests outside of sports. Carlos’s favorite MLB team is the Nationals, and he admires the legendary pitcher, Bartolo Colon. One of his most cherished baseball memories involves a triumphant senior night, where his team emerged victorious, securing a memorable win over the Senators and clinching the prestigious third-place position. These experiences not only highlight Carlos’s love for the game but also underscore his commitment to fostering success both on and off the baseball diamond.
