WAVES BASEBALL COACH
Mike is a seasoned and dedicated coach with a wealth of experience, both on the field and in mentoring young athletes. His coaching journey with Koa began in 2011 and spanned until 2014, and he returned to the coaching scene in the summer of 2017. During his time with Koa, Mike has worked with a wide range of age groups, primarily focusing on coaching 10U-16U travel teams. His expertise extends to the high school level, where he has coached both Varsity and Junior Varsity teams for Koa. In addition to his coaching roles, Mike serves as an Assistant Coach for the Olney Cropduster summer collegiate team, showcasing his versatility and commitment to nurturing players at various levels. Mike’s passion for baseball stems from his own remarkable playing experiences. He was a part of the 1994 Little League State Champion team in Florida, showcasing his early talent and dedication to the sport. His skills also led him to play AAU baseball for multiple teams in central Florida. Moreover, Mike’s versatility as an athlete was evident in high school, where he excelled as a four-sport athlete, demonstrating his dedication and proficiency across various disciplines. With a strong background in both coaching and playing, Mike brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to the field. His commitment to developing young athletes and his diverse experiences in the realm of sports highlight his enduring passion for the game.
