WAVES BASEBALL COACH
Steve’s journey in the realm of sports is marked by a strong foundation in both playing and coaching, reflecting his enduring passion for the game and his commitment to nurturing young talents. During his formative years, Steve attended Walter Johnson High School in Rockville, MD, where he not only received his education but also honed his skills on the field. His dedication to the sport continued into his college years at Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA, where he further developed his expertise and love for the game. Transitioning seamlessly into coaching, Steve has become a pivotal figure in the development of young athletes. Currently, he serves as a coach in our Travel department and our AA BABL League with the Baysox, where he imparts his knowledge and mentorship to aspiring players. Additionally, his coaching acumen has been recognized at his alma mater, Walter Johnson High School, where he has contributed as an assistant coach, playing a vital role in the growth and success of the team. Steve’s dual roles as a player and a coach highlight his deep connection to the sport. His dedication to both his own skills and the development of young players underscores his enduring passion for baseball and his commitment to fostering the next generation of athletes.
