WAVES BASEBALL COACH
Coach Howard played four years of varsity baseball in high school. After graduating high school, he played two years of club baseball at the University of Virginia. Howard currently plays in an 18 and over men’s league. Howard has coached with Koa for the past eight years. He spent three seasons with BABL, where he led his team to one undefeated season and one championship. He has coached 12 years of Travel Baseball. Coach Howard has also one tournament championship in the Fall 2019 season. In addition, he served as a mentor in college. When asked “What does shaping kids’ lives through sports mean to you?” Howard responded saying “It means teaching them that hard work pays off in all aspects of life, not just on the baseball field. It means teaching them to respect their opponents and respect each other. Working together as a team towards a common goal.”
