CHRIS BLAIR

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR & CAMP DIRECTOR (6-12U) | PITCHING INSTRUCTOR

Born and raised in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Chris attended Southern High School in Anne Arundel County where he lettered in Baseball and Basketball. Chris was a part of two 2a state champion baseball teams while attending Southern, while being named an all-county player and a preseason all-state player. Chris went on to play Collegiate baseball at D2 powerhouse Millersville University in Pennsylvania as a pitcher. While at Millersville, Chris played in the SCBL for the Lake Norman Copperheads, as well as in the MCBL for the Koa Green wave becoming an all-star both summers. While playing for the Lake Norman Copperheads, Chris was also a lead counselor for the youth summer baseball camps. As a Member of the Millersville University baseball team Chris was able to be a counselor at both youth camps and high school showcase camps. Chris had his playing career cut short due to injury, but stayed on staff as a student assistant for two seasons at Millersville where he was an assistant pitching coach and Goals Coordinator. Millersville University won two regular season PSAC titles, was a runner-up in the PSAC tournament and a semifinalist in the regional tournament as they attended three straight regional tournaments while he was there. In 2020 Chris graduated from Millersville university and went on to work for Headfirst sports as a baseball counselor in their national’s baseball camps. In the Fall of 2020, Chris became a coach in the Koa BABL program at the A and AA level, as well as the assistant BABL director. In the spring of 2021, Chris assumed the position of Baseball operations manager and youth development coordinator. Chris also runs the summer camp program for the Silver Spring/Takoma Thunderbolts in the Cal Ripken Collegiate baseball league as the Head of day-to-day operations.
